 Sorry for taking so long between postings!  Wylie has been on many adventures recently.  Braving Durango Snowstorms - His First Plane Ride - Meeting Maggie the Bulldog - Spending Time in Delaware - Attending Lots of Christmas Parties & His First Christmas! 

Wylie and family are now in Stowe, VT for more adventures.  Pictures to come!!

He's a Character

 Wylie is really quite a character.  I'm sad that my maternity leave ends on Monday and I wont be able to spend my days with this silly man. Enjoy the pics!

He is so strong.  He can hold up his head and look around.  We practice tummy time everyday!

Wylie had a "conversation" with Mr. Monkey this week.  It was hilarious!

Silly Wylie

Wylie is almost three months old!  Not only is he packing on the pounds, but he is developing his own silly personality.  He smiles and coo's when we make faces at him.  He also holds his own in "conversations" with his mom and dad. Plus he is starting to recognize and find the dogs entertaining- and the dogs seem to be enjoying having Wylie around as well.

Thanksgiving Hike w/ Family

Wylie spent Thanksgiving with his gi gi and Aunt Blair.  He has been smiling and talking to them for the past two days.  The day after Thanksgiving we all (including the 3 dogs) went on a hike down the colorado trail.

9 lbs 11 oz -- Wylie is growing up!

 Wylie had his 2 month check-up last week- he has gone from 6lbs 11oz to 9lbs 11oz!  The Doctor said he is healthy and doing great.  Although Wylie is a very mellow baby, he has his moments.

Otherwise, Rand, Wylie and I are doing great.  Here are a couple pictures from the past week!

Wylie and his mom take long walks on the river trail during the week.  Wylie and I encountered some deer on the trail. Good thing he wore his camo!

So Big...kinda

 Wylie is getting so big!  He is able to hold up his head and sit propped up.  He is also looking less like a skinny newborn and more like a chubby baby- check out that belly.

He likes to snuggle with Charlie too.  Charlie is 11 y/o and is a very mellow man.  He doesn't mind hanging with Wylie and taking a nap.

As much as Wylie is growing he still looks tiny in his warmer clothes.  But now that its cold in Durango we are making due with what we have.  He looks so cute in his big boy clothes...even if they are camo!

Sunday Outting

 Yesterday the whole family went on a stroll to the dog park and along the river trail.  I'm sure we are quite the scene- Wylie in the stroller and our three other furry children- Bella, Buddy and Charlie pulling us along.

We definitely tested out our rugged stroller at the dog park. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

"So Advanced"

 Like most parents Rand and I think Wylie is "so advanced" (Its the phrase we use whenever Wylie conquers a developmental milestone).

He is starting to recognize and interact with his toys.  He can hangout by himself and be entertained by his toys that swing and rattle.

He is also starting to smile (and its not just gas)!!  It's kinda the best thing ever.  He is a happy dude.

Saturday w/ the Family

 We had a great fall Saturday in Durango.  Rand, Wylie and I went to the farmers market, dog park (w/ the three dogs), pumpkin patch and ended up at the Ska Brewery for an afternoon beer.  Wylie is a mellow lil man and is happy no matter where he travels.

 Here he is holding his bottle and feeding himself.  We think Wylie is "so advanced." ;-)

 Wylie is definitely growing.  Check out that chubby face!  We are starting to see glimpses of a smile...but usually when he is falling asleep.  He takes after his mom and dad and is a good sleeper. (Yeah!!)
